One
of the newest events on St. Lucia is the Anse La Raye Street Party. First held
in 1999, it’s become the local festival to beat them all.
The small fishing village of Anse La
Raye is just 10 minutes from the Inn on the Bay. Every Friday night on a stretch
of road running along the beach, groups of local craftspeople, singers and
musicians come together to perform.
The setting is awesome, the folks are
friendly as can be and the fun goes on and on. Come along and enjoy the great
live entertainment, and sample St. Lucia’s fresh fish or spiny lobster
prepared on the spot. Bus leaves the Inn at 7:30 p.m.
Moses, our official driver and guide
for this event, will stay with you throughout the evening, to make sure you don’t
miss any of the fun. Return time to the Inn is normally 11:00 p.m. - unless you
decide to stay longer! A favorite with Inn guests!
