Thank You again for making our Honeymoon so special!

Cindy and I would like to Thank You again for making our Honeymoon on St. Lucia so special.  We have never received such personal attention and help in planning activities (i.e. island excursions, horse back riding, dinner reservations etc. etc.) anywhere,  before this trip. 

You provided excellent suggestions on island activities and made our stay totally stress free.  Your Inn was perfect as a Honeymoon spot, there was privacy and socializing when we wanted.  The other guests we met at the Inn were all nice.  I think advertising through the INTERNET attracts a certain type of clientele.

The morning breakfast was great, (nice strong coffee), fresh island fruits, muffins, etc.  The romantic dinners were terrific, the chicken dish was our favorite, the view from the 2nd floor balcony was breath taking! The island of St. Lucia is still an unspoiled beautiful spot on the planet, whose local people are still very friendly and a happy people.  We had no negative experiences with any of the people and begging and aggressive sales people were not a problem.  

We feel that Marigot Bay where the Inn is located is a prime spot for seeing the island because it is at the mid point between most areas to see.  During our 2 week Honeymoon there were plenty of activities to keep us occupied when we wanted to be.  I must also say the various beaches and resorts that we visited were beautiful and the people very friendly. 

I remember during one of our first conversations asking about whether the rooms were air conditioned and your response was that the constant Trade Winds kept the rooms quit comfortable and thinking to myself..."yah right". Well you were right. We were very comfortable. In fact at night Cindy slept under a blanket.

And Normand...believe or not we also enjoyed your wit and sense of humor.  On a future anniversary I may surprise Cindy with a trip back to St. Lucia....there's a few points..huh Normand!

Romantic and relaxing!!

It's four months now since you made the arrangements for us to get married on a sunny Friday afternoon overlooking the beautiful Marigot Bay. We could not have wished for a more romantic and relaxing way to be married and we had no problems at all with pre-wedding nerves. In fact, Vicky has a picture of me lying on the bed in shorts and reading a book only 30 minutes before the ceremony was due to begin. 

We still talk about our time there and continually wish we were back savoring your ever-friendly hospitality. The Andrea Bocelli track "Time To Say Goodbye" that you played in the morning to announce breakfast has become "our" song and we bought the CD as soon as we got back to Holland.

An additional pleasure was being able to meet your other wonderful guests and the local people who we talked to, had dinner with, sailed with and continue to exchange email with. 

The only trouble is that you may have spoilt us for any future holidays as it will take something extremely special to top the time we spent with you and Louise. If it isn't paradise then it must certainly come very close and we still intend to spend our fifth wedding anniversary at The Inn On The Bay.

An idyllic vacation retreat!

Thank you so much for a fabulous stay at your magnificent Inn On The Bay In Marigot Bay. Jennifer and I have stayed in many Bed & Breakfasts and small hotels in North America and Europe. However, never have we encountered a Bed & Breakfast/Inn where the owners had taken such trouble to anticipate and provide for their guest's needs.

The Inn's setting accommodation, facilities, rooms, knowledge of local sights and the innkeepers general hospitality create an almost idyllic vacation retreat. The rooms, washrooms and common areas are immaculate, ample and tastefully decorated. The breakfasts are delicious and extensive.

Both Normand and Louise create an atmosphere where guests feel they are at their own vacation home and are therefore able to relax and enjoy themselves - meeting other people and making new friends. We had such a wonderful time we would recommend it to anyone and have brought back fond memories and new friends.

A really outstanding vacation!

We both want to thank you both for everything during our recent stay at the Inn. The extra effort you put out makes the difference between having a vacation and having a really outstanding vacation. Louise's breakfasts made such a difference, really good food, plenty of it and so convenient - except for one thing - Louise, you really need to re-evaluate your hired help. That maid of yours (Normand!) has the ugliest legs I've seen in a long time. :-))))))

Normand, you also must be commended for your attentiveness toward your guests. It must be a pain to have to put up with being pestered at all hours, but your attentativeness makes all the difference.

I also want you to know that the SCUBA diving on St. Lucia was the best I've had yet in the Caribbean, (or South Pacific for that matter). Again the absolute highlight was the San Antoine restaurant. Be sure and recommend it with gusto to future guests.

You two have a very merry Christmas!

Salut Normand et Louise!

We both had a very nice time at "The Inn". Our vacation at The Inn was exactly what we were looking for...very restful. Your hospitality and the beautiful location of The Inn On The Bay made our 25th anniversary all the more special. I particularly like the room layout...very spacious and comfortable. I will definitely miss my morning swims...c'est la vie!

Such a wonderful atmosphere!

Thanks for providing us a terrific start to our wedding. It's hard to put into words how great everything was. Normand thanks for lending me your sunglasses for a couple days and Louise, Jenny talks often of your wonderful food. I enjoyed it also. The room was great as well.

Everything was so laid back and relaxing. Y'all (you two) do a great job of creating such a wonderful atmosphere. I guess the island doesn't hurt either. But seriously, the little touches y'all provided really made it an extra wonderful vacation.

We have several friends getting married this year. Most are opting for something of a more all inclusive resort type honeymoon. They don't know what they are missing. We certainly hope to return someday...

Again, we hope all is well with you two crazy kids. Have a great year!

Even better than we could have expected!

Hello Normand and Louise!  I finally found the time to send you an e-mail to thank you for all you did to make our honeymoon perfect!  It was absolutely incredible!  I don't think that it is possible to put into words how wonderful our stay at the Inn on the Bay was.  When Bill and I first came across your website, it seemed to be just what we were looking for.  We almost began to wonder if it was too good to be true.  Of course, once we were there, it was even better than we could have expected.  St. Lucia is truly a treasure.  It is a gorgeous island.  We enjoyed our many excursions, as well as the many hours we spent just relaxing on the beautiful beaches or at the pool at the Inn. We could not have asked for a better host and hostess. 

Louise, your breakfasts of fresh fruits and home baked pastries always got the day off to a wonderful start. Normand, thank you so much for arranging all of our activities (including our transportation) and filling us in on all that the island has to offer.  Thank you for picking us up when we were too lazy to hike up the hill at the end of the day, and even lending us money when we didn't have time to exchange it before our sailing tour.  The two of you made our trip truly special, and we feel very fortunate to have met you.  Like I said, it is impossible to describe how wonderful our honeymoon was.  I almost have to look at the pictures to remind myself that we were really there only 4 months ago.  I can only hope that we someday have the opportunity to return to St. Lucia and the Inn on the Bay.  Thank you once again for EVERYTHING you did to provide us with a truly personal, unique, and memorable honeymoon.

The Inn On The Bay is one of the best finds on and off the Internet. Its location, small size, and accessibility to recreation definitely contributed to its desirability as a vacation hideaway. None of this would mean anything, however, if it weren't for the owners.

Normand and Louise not only provided excellent service, their helpfulness and genuine concern for satisfaction made our stay an outstanding experience.

Normand's rich sense of humor and Louise's elegant, 5-star quality meals made us feel more like friends than guests. We recommend Inn On The Bay without hesitation as the place to stay in St. Lucia.

The Inn On The Bay is one of the best vacation spots we have visited in over thirty years of traveling. Normand and Louise make this small inn one of warm hospitality and romantic ambiance equal to no others we have found.

Having only four guestrooms allows each visitor to get to know everyone else staying at the Inn. By the end of our vacation, we had developed lasting friendships we will never forget.

Louise's gourmet meals surpassed all others on the island. We won't forget the lovely, romantic, candlelit dinners from the terrace overlooking the breathtaking view of Marigot Bay.

A great vacation!

We wanted to express our thanks for all your efforts in making out trip to The Inn a great vacation. Lisa and I felt more like honored guests at your home than guests in your Inn. Louise's breakfasts were a great way to start every day.

We were very surprised that on Christmas day, Santa found us even on vacation in St Lucia. We especially enjoyed the intimate atmosphere of The Inn. With only four rooms, we got to know the other guests and had a great time with all of them!
